Privacy Policy

Information we collect
- Restaurant account details: owner name, email, phone, business address, GSTIN and tax settings.
- Staff details entered by owners and managers: name, username, role, shift and attendance records.
- Guest details shared at the table: name, mobile, email, GSTIN and occasion — all optional and skippable.
- Order and billing records: items, amounts, taxes, invoice numbers and payment method.
- Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as log and error information.
How we use it
- To run the menu, ordering, kitchen, waiter and billing features you use.
- To print accurate bills and produce GST reports for the restaurant.
- To recognise a returning guest at the same restaurant so details do not have to be retyped.
- To provide support, keep the service secure and fix problems.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use guest details for advertising.
Who can see what
Each restaurant's data is separated from every other restaurant's data. Guest and order information is visible only to the staff of the restaurant where the order was placed, according to their role. Guests browsing a QR menu do not need an account and are never asked to log in.
Service providers
Trendzmenu runs on Lovable Cloud, which provides the hosting, database, authentication and file storage used by the platform. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Payment processing, when enabled, is handled by the payment provider chosen for your account; we do not store full card details.
Retention
Order, billing and GST records are retained for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for the period required by applicable tax and accounting rules. Other data is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed.
Your choices
- Guests can skip the customer details screen entirely and still order.
- Restaurant owners can edit or remove customer, staff and menu records from their dashboard.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by writing to us.
